Freedom Isn’t Free
But It Is Worth Fighting For
NOTIFICATIONS
We want to congratulate our newly elected Commander, Ronne McLarrin, as well as the rest of our newly elected board.
We would also like to thank our Past Commander, Les Moreland, for his leadership and dedication to improving our post. Many major projects were completed under his tenure as our Post-Commander.
That being said, we have positions for which no person was nominated, nor did anyone step up to fill them. We need to have persons step up for the positions of 2nd Vice President and Post Chaplin. If you are interested in filling either of the positions, please contact Commander Ronne McLarrin. We also could use additional persons to serve as Trustees.
Remember, this is your post. Your support is needed to keep things running smoothly.
After many years of relying on other organizations, we have decided to reinstitute our Honor Guard program. We will be looking for volunteers who are willing to make a commitment to this worthy group. We would welcome members from all Post 2006 including AMVETS, Auxiliary, and Sons. There will be information and sign-up sheets posted at the Post. Once we have gained sufficient interest, we will have an organization meeting. If you have questions, please contact webmaster using form here.
As our smoking room is nearing completion, we would like to thank the Dean family for their incredible donation. The family provided the materials and the incredible talent to paint this wonderful addition.
The Post needs volunteers for activities and assistance in operating the post. If people do not step up, you will begin to see activities decrease. If you want to volunteer, please get in touch with any officer or trustee with your interest. Please ensure anytime you volunteer, you submit your time to 2nd VP Ronne McLarrin.
